What will you be doing?
You will report to the Senior finance manager and will be responsible for overseeing the effective and efficient processing of accounting data including software platform, bank, month-end account reconciliations and assisting with the analysis of P&L accounts.
What Your Day-to-Day Will Look Like
Preparation and review of the balance sheet and P&L every month
Assist in the annual audit, taxation and statutory reporting obligations including GST, and BAS.
Review of daily/weekly/end of draw/monthly reconciliation of software platform, bank, and ledger accounts
Review of the Fixed Asset register
Processing and review of all aspects of entering, processing and checking transactions
Ensuring payment of creditors/transfers to sweep accounts are made in accordance with contracts/trading terms.
Reconciliations of accrued expenses and prepayments
Review a variety of invoices for payment promptly
Other ad-hoc and general finance-related tasks as required by the business
What You’ll Be Able to Bring to the Role
A background working in financial accounting and reporting
Proven experience working with accounting software (Xero)
Understanding of financial and accounting principles
Ability to prioritise work tasks
Strong attention to detail
Organised and able to meet deadlines
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office/Google Sheets skills
CPA/CA qualified
Salary Banding: $95,000 - $120,000+Super
