What will you be doing?
You will lead, grow and mature Jumbo Interactive's approach to digital acquisition and activation.
This is a strategic leadership role with full ROI accountability for all customer acquisition efforts across Paid, Owned and Earned channels.
You are responsible for defining our channel diversification strategy, advancing Martech platform maturity (SA360/DV360) and our end-to-end experimentation framework.
You will act as a strategic bridge across the marketing team, working closely with Lifecycle, Brand & Loyalty, Insights and our agency partners to ensure a cohesive go-to-market approach that drives incremental draw on draw growth.
What Your Day-to-Day Will Look Like:
Lead the digital acquisition function of the marketing team, including paid and organic performance across key channels.
Diversify and mature our acquisition channels, including identifying, evaluating and launching new strategic channels, including but not limited to Display, Video and OOH.
Translate the Growth and Marketing strategy into a clear, measurable plan for the team and our agency partners, defining OKRs and KPIs to measure performance.
Advance paid bidding maturity by leveraging key platforms, including SA360 and DV360, migrating from a transaction to a customer value approach.
Own the marketing performance budget, translating business goals into channel-level investment strategies and defining the ROI thresholds for optimisation.
Define the strategy and collaborative approach between the marketing and platform teams via the PMO to define, brief and prioritise performance-driven improvements across the website and app.
Develop the strategic direction and measurement framework for the entire CRO/Personalisation function, ensuring all testing is aligned with overarching business objectives.
Own performance reporting across all channels, presenting clear, data-backed insights and OKRs to the Head of Growth and other Senior Managers.
Lead the monthly planning and investment alignment process with the Head of Growth and Business Performance team, ensuring the acquisition strategy is fully integrated into the P&L and business roadmap.
Lead the implementation of the Disciplined Execution framework within your remit, ensuring clear workflow and process controls are embedded in daily operations.
Foster strong relationships with key partners and our agency, holding them accountable to performance targets by defining our terms of engagement and key financial deliverables.
Lead the performance management, coaching and development of the Digital Marketing Manager, CRO & Personalisation Specialist and SEO Specialist, driving functional excellence across the pillar.
Utilise data analytics and work closely with the insights team to continuously optimise digital acquisition to drive performance improvements.
What You’ll Be Able to Bring to the Role:
10+ years of marketing experience, 5+ of it leading an in-house digital marketing or agency team.
Demonstrated strategic & tactical digital thinking with proven implementation of successful digital marketing strategies
A process-first mindset with a proven ability to implement structure, define new workflows and lead teams through organisational change.
Expert hands-on knowledge of core marketing platforms, including Google Marketing Platform (SA360/DV360), Meta Ads, Programmatic Ads and Analytics Tools (Amplitude experience ideal).
Strong relationship management skills, negotiation skills and verbal/written communication skills.
Hands-on experience running marketing campaigns across multiple channels, search, social and programmatic.
Salary Banding: $160,000 - $180,000 + Super
