What will you be doing?
You are the technical expert accountable for defining, building and executing Jumbo Interactive's media acquisition strategy. This role is essential for driving our channel diversification goals by maximising performance across all programmatic channels, including Video, Display, Native, Audio and DOOH.
You will be responsible for campaign setup and execution, as well as the technical governance of our media platforms (DSP). You will lead publisher relationships alongside the Senior Manager, including deal negotiation, to help deliver measurable ROI against the media investment strategy.
What Your Day-to-Day Will Look Like:
Own campaign setup, execution and optimisation across all programmatic media, including Audio, Display, Video (e.g., YouTube, CTV), and Native advertising platforms, ensuring strict adherence to budget and performance targets.
Implement and manage advanced, automated bidding strategies by leveraging data and audience insights in key platforms like DV360.
Collaborate with the Insights team to leverage outputs from Marketing Mix Modelling (MMM) and other statistical analyses to inform media allocation decisions and optimise cross-channel media buying.
Own the commercial and technical relationship with key publishers and inventory partners, ensuring access to high-quality media at competitive rates that align with brand safety standards.
Work with the Brand and Content team to develop and execute a rigorous creative testing roadmap across key programmatic channels, focusing on dynamic creative optimisation (DCO) and tailored audience segments.
Serve as the technical point of contact for ad-serving issues, tracking implementation and tag management requirements related to programmatic media.
Conduct detailed analysis on campaign performance, providing clear, data-backed insights on programmatic channel contribution and efficiency.
Set up, manage and maintain the Demand-Side Platforms (DSPs) and associated data sharing agreements (DSA), ensuring secure and compliant use of first-party data for audience targeting.
What You’ll Be Able to Bring to the Role:
Proven hands-on experience managing and executing programmatic campaigns within an in-house or agency team.
Expert proficiency with a major Demand-Side Platform (DSP) such as DV360/The Trade Desk.
Strong technical understanding of ad-tech infrastructure, including ad serving, tag management (GTM), data layers and audience segmentation.
Demonstrated ability to read and leverage outputs from Marketing Mix Models (MMM) or econometric models to inform media strategy.
Excellent relationship management and negotiation skills for handling publisher and vendor relationships.
Confident communicator who thrives in fast-paced, high-volume environments.
Salary Banding: $120,000 - $140,000 + Super
